Our flamboyant annual carnival lit up the college premises for two days, as it attracted aspirants of all spectra. Bank Asia presents 6th National English Carnival powered by Daily Star was held on January 30th and 31st, 2020. It turned out to be the biggest ever language festival hosted - with a staggering 4000 participants from all around the nation. The range of enthusiastic participants who were physically present to compete in this grand event can be traced as far as the hilly tracts of the country.
Cleanliness and decorum were maintained by the volunteers diligently, as hard a task that was. With the adorned gate, embellished open stage and lustrous auditorium, the festive was an eye candy for sure. One could notice a striking scene in front of the open stage, as the vibrant and informative wall magazines up for exhibition were thematically arranged.
But that's not all! There was an impressive total of 14 unique events, categorised across 4 groups divided as per level of education. Accompanying the classics like English Olympiad and Recitation were contemporaries like Parody News Reading and Multimedia Presentation. There were events like Spell Master and Word Play to test our prowess in the English language just as there were Literature and Pop Culture quizzes to assess knowledge we care about. With the event, we got to witness passionates turn sweat to success; as we turned trash to candies!
